I got this book to further understand algae turf scrubber filtration, it's scope it far beyond that.

Dynamic Aquaria-Building and Restoring Living Ecosytems describes how careful experimental research into the structure, function and biodiversity of ecosystems can lead to model ecosystems that produce answers to very complex ecological questions. 25 years of work into living ecosystem modeling has enabled the authors to devise methods that may be used to efficiently solve many real world enviromental problems. Only through such intimate and synergistic study can we hope to overcome previous failures to fully understand the intricate workings of both local ecosystems and the global biosphere and address the need to coordinate human activities with those of the ecosystems in which we are inextricably intertwined.

Even though I was very interested , this proved a tough read, but someone else may want to give a go themselves.

If you want to be a sponsor, PM me or reply to this thread. we can arrange meeting or shipping of the book.

Thanks AJ.  I would actually like to read this sometime.  Although at the current moment I don't have much time to read.
