You should be able to Dave. I have some pieces of polarizing film to determine whether the glass is tempered or not. You need one one each side of the glass and I've sold a few at $2/ea... much cheaper than sunglasses, or camera filters.
I assume you know how to check it, if not I can tell you how, very simple process.

That sounds easy enough, I have never tried using the film method so I will have to ask. Let me think it over and make sure that I should not go with a 125 as a sump. (I am on the fence about it.) I will have a 240 gal. refugium too so its not a matter of just volume.
