$15 TFH Subscriptions

FAMA has been bought out/incorporated/whatever with Aquarium Fish International so TFH is having a special offer. I've recently began to fall in love with TFH over other magazines. They seem to be more toward freshwater.....which is currently what I am (back) into.

I would love to see a good magazine dedicated to freshwater keepers the way Coral is to reefkeepers.  I have seen some planted fresh tanks that are even better looking than the average reef tank (mine in that group)

Too many keepers view freshwater as nothing more than five fish you buy at the mega mart or Uncle Joe's pet store.  But the reality is that there are some tanks that are incredible and include some very strange and interesting fish and plants

This new hybrid between magazines could establish itself as "leader" in driving the freshwater hobby instead of chaser and waffler as FAMA largey was (at least in saltwater)  In Short, a chance to start over and jump ahead of the curve

Yeah a dedicated freshwater aquarium magazine would be amazing. I can almost bet 100% there are some in Japan/Germany (they are decades ahead of the US in many facets of the hobby). We are just now seeing translated works from Amano that were published a while ago.

And people think freshwater aquariums are easy.....well the basic one is! So is a basic FOWLR marine tank. Now take a 40g breeder, slap 4x39w T5HO or even halides above it.....and tell me how easy that is! You'll be a very successful algae grower within days for sure!
