Due to technical difficulties the dinner portion of the Marine club BBQ in Bellevue has to be Canceled.  We are still selling the full tray of bbq pork (for  $60) and the Quart (for $20) but no dinners.

The red tape of it all was a nightmare to say the least

I believe that I sold two dinners to TRAC members if you would contact me through PM I will settle up with what we owe you (ie just destroy your check and send it back to you)  or make other arrangements as it fits your needs

Wednesday afternoon will be the last chance to order a tray or quart and they will be ready for pick up on Friday or Sat.  (I would make a T-town run for a group buy and save you all the long drive)

sorry for the troubles and thank you for supporting the students

David

Well, I started cooking at mid night last night and will finish up by the time i get out of school and can then shred and package.  The Mrs. will be at the helm during the daylight hours.

I had to put 34 whole shoulders on the cooker and found out that the cooker holds exactly 34 shoulders.  If I add another shelf I could get another 10 or so to squeeze in (good to know for next year's fundraiser)

Now its off to teach after nearly no sleep and still smelling like pork and wood smoke.  (yea I did shower but it is still hanging on me LOL)

BTW: CORA is hosting a keepers only frag swap on Saturday.  Details can be found on their site (google central ohio reef keeper) and on their R/C site

not at all Ignorant and yep Bellevue, Oh.

We have closed the books on this year's project and we were surprised at how well it did for a first year and for not being able to host the dinner part too.  (although it was a ton of work to say the least)

I think we will be trying again in October for both the dinner and bulk take-outs with the idea of making it a every fall and every spring event

It was clear that to wade through the paper work I will need more than a month of advanced notice to the paper people.  They went nuts to say the least.

So an October-fest in the fall.  and a late spring dinner plus stock up for summer parties sale.

I'm glad it went well!  I hope I can get in on it this fall, I love barbecue.
