OFFER(free):

I will have giant hornwart in abundance, and can bring some that has emmersed(grown out of the water) too.  I have a bunch 'O java moss too.

I can also share some young RCS.  If anyone has colorful  shrimp that do not cross with the RCS and therefore will maintain their own color, I'd be thrilled to trade some, but it isn't necessary.

I think I can share some MTS also.  They hid when Brandon came to get some, but usually I have them all over the place.  These are great snails, they do NOT trash your plants, and are fairly prolific.

I can probably come up with some val, and if I can figure out how to separate it, some java fern.

Please respond here so I know A) how much to bring, and B) can verify I have enough for whoever is interested.

It's looking 95% certain I'll be able to come to the meeting, but  it turns out I can't, I'll let you know so we can make other arrangements for pickup.

The only cichlids I have managed to keep alive are angelfish, and they did fine with plants.  However, it seems to me that I've heard around that cichlids either dig up or eat plants?

Try posting on the cichlid area under the freshwater section, maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

For what it's worth, the hygro is ridiculously vigorous, and  even seems impervious to ramshorn snails that decimate everything else.  It might be tough enough for fish that take out plants.  I can't imagine it would hurt to try it.

Some cichlids do fine with plants and some will destroy them.  If the cichlids you have like to move the substrate around, then they are the kind that would destroy them.  If they don't, then it's worth a try.

I'll bring some giant hygro, which is really, really tough, and some guppy grass, which floats.

I have snails in my tanks, so if you don't want snails you may want to dip the plants.

I lost all my endlers for no reason I can figure out.  I do have some guppy/endler mystery mixes in my tropical tank, but no longer have the pure endlers.

Want me to bring you some plants?  Shrimp?

If anybody's interested, I can bring some cryptocorynes- I'm pulling a bunch for the auction on Saturday anyway.

I've got large bronze (wendtii?) and large green (affinis). I don't think I have any val, so if Mary pulls a bunch of that I could trade. Otherwise let me know what 'ya got.

I'll bring you some val for sure.  You want new shoots that are just coming up, or would you prefer the larger, established, tal plants?

If you are willing to trade some crypts, the ones I got from you before are doing fabulously and I wouldn't mind a couple more.  But I don't need a trade to bring you the val.

What livebearers do you have(if any) for sale?  Also, do you have any starter cultures of live food sources?

May I have some please? lol  I'd like to re-establish my colony of them.  Are these the ones you stared out with from me?  Or do you have a different strain?

Am interested either way, just curious.

I'm so excited I can make a meeting!

I'd like at least one of each.  I don't have anything to trade, unless you want some endler's or some least killies.  Let me know how much $ you'd like for the plants and I'll buy some from you.

I also have malaysian trumpet snails.  If anyone wants some, let me know.  They are free.

Hi Perry and welcome to TRAC!

I'm in West Toledo, and can spare some juvenile RCS and if you give it a week or two I'll have more java moss, never fear!

Since the March meeting's come and gone I'd love to see you post in the Freshwater section or in the "new person" section about yourself and your tanks, so we can get to know you.  I've got posts about my tanks in both the freshwater and coldwater sections of the forum.

Thank you for the welcome.. I did post in the intro section the day I registered and went to the meeting that same night after I figured out where it was..lol. thats what happens when ya plant a seattleite in toledo.. That would be great on the shrimp, everytime I go looking everyone is always sold out for some odd reason or another, and after seeing people talk about endlers, I had to google them.. immediately liked them.. will post and add more as things go along
