If anyone is setting up a pond, this is a great time to do it. I saw a 155 gallon pond at Sam's Club for $99 (35 gallons serves as the fountain resevoir, but still, 125 gallon base for them to swim in is great

Though it'd probably end up as a tadpole pond, putting my large moonlight and kissing gouramis, and the pleco out for the summer is an idea

Do you know what the dimentions were on this?  I'm just curious or thinking of another application for this?

Next time I goes to Sam's I'll measure it, but this pond is very similar, except for costing a few bucks more, and having a few gallons less

I don't think the one I saw folded up, though it may of. They had a demo of it, filled with water, looked pretty sturdy

Was it buried with supports.

It wasn't burried (though it is suppose to be when it's at your house), it would be like a below ground pool.

it has the frame, you just need to dig out a hole to place it in. sorry for the confusion

No confusion... I'm just trying to gauge the supports for it to see what other applications it can be used as.

Scott, sorry it took so long, but here are the measurements

58"L x  34"W x 19"D

give or take an inch.

I actually bought one yesterday, and just got the hole dug, small adjustments still need to be taken for a proper fit.

If my sister will let me use her digital camera, I'll update with pics accordingly.

I plan to put my 2 Moonlight Gouramis, 4 Kissing Gouramis, and my one 7" common Pleco in there for the summer

Sorry I haven't been updating this, I slipped up with the hole, and now its a touch too shallow. Other than that, I haven't done much due to it getting cold and rainy 'again'

This has been like the 3rd week where it heats up to 75F and then plummets.

This weekend is suppose to peak at 70F, followed by more storms... I might not get anything done

I feel your pain. When my dad and I did his we dug the hole too shallow and not wide enough. Getting it "just right" is a real pain! That and moving all that dirt. We have the pond on an elevated mound of dirt, looks a lot better than being directly in the ground.

I'll take pictures of my dad's when I go back home. It's overgrown with some ground creeping plant but still looks nice. Our dog and cats think it's a giant waterdish.

The ponds completed, both the 125 gallon base, and the 30 gallon overflow water fall. The mass of rocks surrounding the tank are in place, its looking great.

Of couse my mom and sisters want to add flowers around it, but I'll avoid most of that primping stuff.

Before I get some pics up, I'll need your guys help. As stupid as this sounds, I don't know how to get pics from an 'album' to the website, if someone could pm or email me (hc8719@yahoo.com) I'll get them up as soon as possible

You can add pictures if they are below 75kb to the forums by clicking to browse/upload button when adding a new post or replying to a post.  If you have your pictures in Photobucket or something like that you can just highlight the picture in photobucket do a copy on it and then paste it into the text in the edit box in the forums.

I would love to see what it looks like!

Ponds are great!  This is my number one warm weather hobby.

Have you had any Heron attacks?
