I to might be interested in such a thing, not really sure why, but I am very intrigued by the idea.

Not 100% sure on the legality of it though.  I thought Cayman were allowed but Alligators picked up by kids on Spring Break were a no no.

If Bananaboat doesn't grab it, I am pretty sure I can find a home for him, ya know if legal.

For some reason we had one for a while when I was little.  All I really remember about it was the really loud croaking kind of noise it made.

I'm just not thinkin' I'd want a pet that might want to eat me.

Mary I've got a mind like a steel....Ohh! Shiny! ::::wanders off::::

Right now the current owner and the first interested party are in touch with each other. If something changes I will let everyone know. So for now it's off the table.

Thanks everyone.

Darn it!  I'd love a pet gator.  How cool is that?  Somehow, I think my neighbors would draw the line at caring for the reef while I'm out of town on business!

I just received a call from my neighbor that the gator is on its way to a new home. Once again thanks to all interested parties.

Kimber I'm sorry you missed out on this.

The biology dept had an alligator as a mascot that I used to help feed, she was full grown and ate a couple chickens whole most weeks.  I hope this person has a huge area to keep it and lots of food.  On a side note I believe they require uvb light if it is to be an indoor pet for now :)
