i just looked in my planted tank to feed the guys for the night and saw something i've never seen before. now i'm by no means a noob but this makes me feel like one.

anyway i saw two giant blood/ruby red ramshorn snails. they looked like the incarnation of satan himself. has anyone ever had them?

No, just regular plain ramshorn snails.  They sound pretty.  I bought some pond plants last summer and got some strange snails, but nothing like that.

i've got some ramshorns that actually have a light blue shell and some others that may look a little maroonish brown...but no satans.  Pics?

I have quite a few of them in my tank, pinks, reds, blues, leopards, and oranges. They are so cute crawling around!
