SCWD -Switching; Current; Water; Director (pronounced squid)
I was looking into them myself a few months back and saw that Dr. F & S had some for relatively cheap compared to the alternative wavemaker options...
The squid has one inlet and two outlets that have the water diverted/switched between outlets as it is pumped from your sump return. A pretty nifty and cheap alternative for creating random water movement!

i have a squid, actually 2 of them.... i am using 1 on my 110 gallon reef, LOVE IT!!! the other one is new, no box but has never been used. please tell me you have some kool live stock to trade?

I am fairly certain I will never go reef-- WAY too much stuff to have to figure out what it is and deal with it. I like 'em SIMPLE. I'll just have to live with the tank-envy I suffer when I see the way-cool marine tanks my pals have.
