Hi, I have a bunch of stuff for sale that I need to get rid of. I am a junior in high school so I go off to college pretty soon and I just don't have enough time to devote to the hobby at the moment. That, and my parents want their house back.
Anyway, I have a bunch of small tanks for sale, like 2 or 3 ten gallons, a hexagon 20 tank, and a bunch of random stuff. I have another post with a lot of this stuff (heaters, lights, chemicals) from like 3 or 4 months back if you want to check it out. This post though, is for the stuff that I wasn't going to sell at that time.
I have a 75 gallon tank with two bulkheads in the back, that I would like to get about 80 dollars for.

The next big thing I have is a fish holding or breeding setup. My plan was to breed saltwater fish, but I never found the time and I think now it is probably too late, maybe after college... Anyway, the setup consists of 16 15 gallon tanks, all drilled and plumbed into 1 system. I have three separate racks that hold six tanks each. The return plumbing is built into the racks and each tank outlet has a ball valve to control the flow. I have a huge pile of extra plumbing, both drain and return, way more than enough, so if anyone wants just that for some reason or another, give me a call. I'm pretty sure every tank has a hood with normal output flourescents as well. Also, to get it running, some of the PVC wil need to be connected, but in my opinion, it shouldn't be that hard in this case. It's all rather small pipe, and I have all the fittings that would be needed. Anyway, here are the pictures of the setup:
Each section can be put together like this,

This is how I was going to have them setup, to use less wall space:

Here is the box of extra stuff I have for pvc plumbing:

So, there you go, I have more pictures, but resizing them is a pain and they really don't show anything else. If anyone is interested in the tanks or anything else I have, you are welcome to stop by and check things out, I live in Perrysburg. Oh, I almost forgot to add that we do have a truck and trailer to move them if someone doesn't have a way to get them, and they take up a lot of space, so that would be understandable. Its pretty difficult moving them all at once though, so it might be better to make trips. If we take them on the trailer, we would like to keep it under a 30 minute drive though, because its pretty nerve racking to drive everything around.
If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please give me a call at 419-260-1703. That is my cell phone, but I won't be able to answer during school, so if you leave a message I will call you back. I don't really know how much to ask, because I haven't seen anything like this for sale. I do know that the ones I see in magazines are way overpriced though. Anyway, just give me a call, stop by, see what you think and we can figure it out. I hope someone who wants it can put it to good use.

Hey Grant,
I'm in need of hang-on-back filters for two 10g tanks. OR one filter and the moter for a whisper filter(it's making scary grinding/crunching noises-- and I already checked to see if there is a snail in there rattling around, there isn't).
Got any of those you'd sell and if so how much?

Thanks, Grant. I found a few things there that I would like to use for a closed loop system on my 75 gallon.
I picked up a pump 3700 l/hr a max jet 900 with mod and some directional spray heads.
Still a lot of great buys to be had, so don't wait too long everyone.
I only wish I had room for more goodies myself.

Mary, your grinding filter needs a new impeller. The motor is fine.

well, good, that's probably cheaper than a motor! Now I just need to find a filter for the other 10g! (that's the one the fry from the tropicals tank and the bumblebees are going to live in)

Genz did you buy them the setup like that or build it yourself?

Hey, sorry about the delay, but I have been extremely busy lately.
Anyway, to start, I do have some small filters, but aren't new, so it might just be better to go get new ones. This way they won't give you any problems. If you do want the used ones, however, let me know and I can go dig them up.
Also, I bought the tanks set up as they are, I did not build it myself. Also, it has been set up and running before, so it works (the shelves hold).
If there are any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Used is fine with me, if the price is right. I'm willing to risk it. I'm leaning towards a sponge filter if you have one, for my fry tank. If you don't let me know what kind of filter you may have for a 10g, and what you'd want for it.
Thanks!
