I am not sure how they handle zoo teens and what they do. I think you can request to help in a specific area but if they need you for something else, you go where they need the help.

My sister was a zoo teen and I think she basically just did whatever she was told and they put here where they needed help for the day. I know her one friend worked with the reptiles mostly so he must must of requested that.

I know if I was in highschool trying to get my community service hours in I would of definetly became a Zoo Teen. Its a great program that benifits both the Teen and the Zoo.
About how many Zoo Teens does the Toledo Zoo get for a year?
