My son just picked out a fish he wanted, a Pictus Catfish. Man i gotta say that fish is a TRIP. As always when i put a new fish in i fed them, OMG did he go nuts eating. He was trying to eat the shrimp pellets whole before they ever hit the bottom and sucking in every flake and bloodworm that got anywhere close to him! So far he has ignored the baby mollies and i netted and put most of them in the breeder net to be sure but he doesn't seem to interested in the other fish just the food lol. Im loving this fish already talk about fun to watch!
Check out this site, these are some really good people! http://www.wilmasthecause.org/ They helped me out,i feel adding the site to my Sig is the least i can do.

Oh I love pictus cats!  I had many of them over the years, but never could keep them alive for long.  I'd have them again if I knew what I did wrong in the past with them. They are a really good-looking fish, as well as being interesting to watch.

Congrats on the new addition!

Mary I've got a mind like a steel....Ohh! Shiny! ::::wanders off::::

Ya they dont set still long lol, mine has a lil Lean to overhang he likes to hide under thats about the only time he stops moving. The say that anything they can fit in their mouth is food so be weary of Small fish, IF they get hungry that is

yeah i used to have one in my tank and he kept running all over the bottom of the tank chasing everything that came around not really trying to eat it but just cuz he could.

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
