Bored and I want to look at pretty corals! So in honor of my newest coral, post some pictures of your Acans. They can be Lords, Echnata, Maxima, whatever.
Here is a set I already had. Started with 4 heads:

My newest set:

They pretty fast growing. I think the trick is feeding them a healthy diet of meaty foods. I feed mine Mysis a couple times a week. I just got a flat piece of lace rock to try and get the first batch of Acans to start growing on that. They don't seem to build a skeleton very fast at all but spread quickly (seems that is how most growers do it).
I like them because they're a really easy coral to take care of. When everything was doing bad in my tank, the Acan never blinked an eye.

The first set I don't remember how much I paid. The second set was $30 or $15 a head.
They don't need an insane amount of light but don't need a little either. Sort of a middle of the road type coral. Same for flow. Timothy keeps his under T5's and I keep mine under a 250w MH.
Not 100% sure how they'd do in your tank. 260w PC over.....a 55g is it? Probably the middle section of the tank to start with and see how they would react.
