The 2nd Annual Toledo Reef Aquarium BBQ Picnic/Meeting will be taking place Saturday August 30th at Side Cut Metropark in Toledo from Noon - 4pm. We will be meeting at the Maumee Rotary Centennial Pavilion
There are 2 large Charcoal grills and twelve 8-foot non movable picnic tables at the shelter. BBQ speciallist wanted ahem.. Briney Dave... This will be a Pot Luck Picnic so bring something to share and please post to this forum what you are bringing. Alcohol is not permitted!!!
I do encourage people to swap coral/Fish/Plants but no money can be exchanged in outdoor or open areas of any Metropark. Please make prearrangments in this thread to swap your items as well.
For Recreation Volleyball, badminton, frisbee tossing and ball playing are premitted. Horseshoes or golf of any kind is not permitted.
Side Cut Metropark is located on the Maumee River. Fishing is available for those with valid Fishing License. The nearest playground is approximately 900 feet from the shelter. The playground has swings, slides, bars, and climbing structures.
The nearest restroom is handicapped accessible and is approximately 600 feet from the shelter.
Please bring your Families. This event is open to everyone TRAC Members and Prospects interested in TRAC. It should be a great time! Hope to see you all there!

Man i soooooo woulda brought the coors light too!
