Hi everyone,

I have a gorgeous male convict that I am looking to breed. I am searching for someone that has females that are ready to breed. If you have any available, please let me know. My boy would love a new girlfriend or two.

Thanks!

Sondra

I have several breeding pairs of killifish (mostly mop spawners, only one peat spawner), several live bearers (sailfin mollies, amica splendins, swordtails, and plumetail platies), cory catfish, a green spotted puffer, and a couple convicts. Most of my tanks are brackish to help the killies (keeps the velvet away).

I also have several types of snails including Columbian Ramshorn, Apple Snail (which I just had a clutch hatch... YAY!!!), Olive Nerite snail (which I have babies crawling around my live bearer tank), a mystery snail, Malaysian Trumpet Snails, and several different colors (pink, orange, blue, brown) small ramshorn.

I'm in the process of setting up a 20L for the cory cats to breed in, I have 2 long finned peppered, 2 long finned albino, and just a regular peppered that is around 5 years old. I'm super excited about breeding the cories, I absolutely love them. My 5 year old has been absolutely indestructible. He/she has lived through just about everything and has outlived all the fish that were purchased with him/her/

Oh, and I'm the one that has the bullhead now happily swimming around one of my tanks. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with him, but right now, my biggest tank is a 20....

I saw some pink convicts at the Pet Supplies Plus at Airport and Reynolds today when I was trolling for natives in the feeder tanks.  They were little ones.

This line cracked me up!  That's been kind of how my tanks(other than the Natives) have been getting put together... "Not sure what I'm going to do with them, but I'll figure it out"... 4 more tanks later and I'm still figuring! (it would help if I would quit adding "just one more" fish to the existing tanks.

I feel y'all's pain.  I have a stupid number of tanks, and tonight I'm switching a ten gallon over to brackish so I can move some fish around and switch a 29 from brackish to fresh and move some fish around and it never ends!  Somebody is always beating up a tankmate or I got this fish and I can't put it with that one or whatever!

I got some Olive Nerites not long ago.  I've wanted to try to breed them.  How much and what kind of salt do you use?  I haven't seen any eggs, but last night I saw endler's picking at a snail, so maybe they eat them.  I'm taking the snails out of the endler tank.

lol i know the new tank syndrom your all talking about. i wouldn't say i have a stupid number of tanks(close but not quite) but there are 545 gallons of water betweeen the 6 tanks currently and i just bought mikes 140g hex yesterday.

if that bullhead ever gets outta control lemme know i've usually got an extra slot or two open. keep in mind most bullheads can top out over 20"
