Anyone seen some of the fish coming out of PNG? The Percula's there are....amazing. The marine hobby might just be seeing a whole new wave of varities coming in since PNG has opened. Lets hope that the people running this will maintain the all hand caught idea they are starting with.

wow! i looked them up and they look AMAZING! i was wondering if you could have more than 2 clowns in a tank.....like mine?? i wanted to get one more that was rare. my friend has a 55g and 3 percs that are huge....but will they all turn into female, or will 2 of them become a pair? like if i got another clown will my pair split up? just wondering....

I'd suspect they would fight. The females are pretty darn mean, mine beats up on Damsels for fun it seems. I *think* there can only be one female per tank (someone correct me if I am off-base here). Probably wouldn't chance it in a 55g. Did you ask about breeding a normal Occy with a black/white one before? If you did, you will get a mixture of the babies. Some black, some normal, some inbetween. I haven't seen too many accounts of this being done.

Looks like PNG might be the best area to collect True Perculas now. Lots of great reports coming out of there. I think the first shipment from PNG landed early this week. No idea what it contained or how it did....yet.

I had a pair of cinnamons and the female never went but two or three inches from her carpet. I wonder if you had a female dedicated to her anemone, perhaps you could have more than two?
