Blix's post reminded me of a problem my dad is having with his pond plants.

His setup is by no means "fancy" but it has worked. He has four different types of Water Lillys but they just aren't growing this year.

I'd say his pond is "low" flow and 80% full sun.

Any tips or ideas on helping these grow? My grandparent's plants are doing just fine and they live a mile away with the same basic setup.

Since Father's Day is coming up, any easy to care for but "pretty" water plants I could get my dad? He's hard to buy for!

they have fertilizer tabs that you add to help them grow, Maybe not enough "poo" in the water .
