Well I just got around to actually setting up my eBay RO/DI unit (never had a real "need" for it until now.
Turns out the faucet connection leaks like crazy. I can still get filtered water out of it but I'm losing almost as much to the leak as I am to waste. That's not being whale friendly.
Any ideas short of buying a new connector or going a different route? Below is a picture with the leaking area circled. Above that is fine, it's actually below the threading.
On a side note, anyone have a TDS meter (that works) that can check my output? I sure doesn't taste like tap water, which means something is either working right or really, really wrong.

Double post but the problem was solved by a reefer on Michigan Reefers.
He suggested putting an O-ring in the threading slot. Sure enough, no leak! Only leak comes from the valve not shutting 100%....but it's maybe a drop every 2-3 seconds. I'm happy.

Hope that helps anyone else that may run across that issue. A 20 cent O-ring saved me a lot of money/headache.

I was going to say o-ring. Too slow on the post apparently.
