Ran across this posted on another board. It's a PDF file so it might take some time to load.

www.aquariumwatertesting.com/AWT_Salt_Analysis_0208.pdf

Some of the results were surprising, especially the Coralife. People give Coralife so much crap for bad products but their salt is way up there from what I can see. I'm stuck between Coralife and Red Sea Coral Pro. Using IO right now just because I have a bag on hand.

Upon more research, I would disregard the findings from AWT. Lots of people on RC are going against them.

What are their comments? Do you have the RC thread?

I did not take time to go look at the experiment or the threads.  Most of the time the experiments are very bias based on being sponsored or a very limited trial runs.

Bottom line: if you like the results from your brand stick with it.  Having troubles with pH or other issues than ask around to a pal.

these salt tests are not as bad as the info-mercials where the gal can not open a can of soup with a normal can opener but the ronco "open o matic" works like a charm for just two easy payments of 19.99 plus a free I/O tee shirt.  ( which I have four of by the way)  but they are not generally very sound.

i must agree stick with what you like the best

ive always used instant ocean but a few weeks ago i had to use coralife salt(never again)

BAD idea i just got things stabilized it made ph fluctuate to much not sure if it was the salt but i just always follow the same protocol because IMO if it is not broke dont fix it.

but come to find out my TDS was through the roof the prefilter on the RODI was so gunked,  i came to the conclusion it was a combination of the change of salt and bad water

just my 2 cents
