I had Sword tails at one time, and if I remember it was about every 28 days I would find newbies in the tank.

I had sword tails breed for me once along time ago. My only suggestion is to pull the female and either put her in one of those breeding containers in another tank or be prepared to move her every time she has a baby. My female would give birth an turn around an eat her baby.

Looks to me that she already is in a breeder container.  The babies will fall through the slot to the bottom of the container.

Having the swordtails eat SOME of the babies is not always a bad thing in an aquarium. Let's say your female has 20-25 babies.  You feed them, and they start growing.  Lots of fun! However, at some point you will have to figure out what are you going to do with 20 swordtails?

After you have the fun with your first set of babies, maybe you will want to try some plants in the tank that the babies can hide in - just like in nature.  Some will be eaten, and some survive.  That way you will only have a few.
