The 10th annual MidWest Marine Conference will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2008 at Weber's Inn in Ann Arbor Michigan. This is our 10th anniversary of putting on this event and we are hoping to make it the best one yet. Stay tuned for future announcements.
The Speakers include
- Eric Borneman
- Bruce Carleson - Curator: Atlanta Aquarium
- Dr Frank Marini - Bangaii Cardinal Fish
- Steven Pro - Marine Fish Expert, Master Experimenter
Tickets include all speaker session, a fabulous lunch buffet, and access to the largest marine aquaria raffle in the state.
Friday Night Workshops
This year in celebration of our 10th anniversary we will be doing a Friday Night Workshop for:
- Aragocrete rock making
- Photography
- Coral Fragging
Tickets to the Workshops can be purchased separately and you do not have to attend the Conference to attend the Workshops. Attendees have the option of purchasing a attendance only ticket or a take home ticket that will allow them to take home a their own rock and a frag.
Space is however limited so please purchase your tickets early.
Please Login at our Main Event Page to print off your tickets for the event.
You must present your ticket to be eligible for any door prizes and the drawing to sit with the speakers at lunch time.

Listening to and talking with Frank Marini will be worth it alone for me. Anyone interested in going up with me on the 15th?

How late does this normally run? Lots of sponsors with free stuff?
Any vendors there with corals?
I might go if I can get off class that day. Knowing my luck it'll be the same day I have an exam or something.

It is a true event.
Last year I was extremely fortunate to win an ecotech vortech powerhead at the raffle.

Last year Fish doctors had corals available there.
One year happy as a clam has a load of clams and some corals , That stuff sold fast!
Sometimes there are donations from LFS for the raffle , like live corals and clams.
Most of the time there is a fragging demonstration going on during the breaks and they give out free frags!
People come from all over for this conference. One of my favorite things is the people is meet.
