Can anyone give me an idea as to what is going on with this Parrot's eye?

Should I treat with some type of medication?

I think Parrotfish in general suffer from eye problems among others. My rescue parrot's "only eye" deflates sometimes.
Because parrotfish are not a natural species, they are commonly prone to birth defects, such as problems with swim bladders, and curved spines

Parrot fish are a man made species, that do not occur in the wild, like a liger or tion. Parrot fish are a cross of severums, red devil cichlids, and sometimes another cichlid. Many aquarist don't support the parrot fish industry because they often have defects, like mentioned above, in addition to sometimes having a hard time eating pellets and larger foods, because of a strange mouth
To make things worse, parrot fish are one of the most dyed fish in the hobby, ever seen a "I <3 U" Parrot?

It’s a highbred and would not occur in nature. It was probably developed for the freak appeal meaning it would sell. I personally do not support this type of highbred program in the pet trade along with painting and dying fish.
