I went to the Extravaganza and was broken hearted that my tank was not ready yet. Boy did I miss out on some deals! (It's still in the process of cycling) I have about another week and I should be ready to start adding fish.

Quite a few TRAC members go to the Aqua Hobbies swap actually. Myself, Slipperboy, Aquaman, Fish E (tankless Fish E), and a few others go. It's a good time and you get to meet a lot of people from other clubs and such.
Not to mention snag some good deals.  Got a good one last month. 20+ zoos and palys for like 25 cents each.

AquaHobbies is having a frag swap Jan 12th I believe, As far as FW stuff goes, perhaps Nicole can shine more light on the event.
TRAC is planning to put together an spring/summer of next year

There is no freshwater stuff at the swap with Aqua Hobbies on Jan 12th. This may be the last swap for Aqua Hobbies since she is selling her store in January.

In the last newsletter for the Akron club, they had stats for their fall auction:
Over 1,000 items sold, over 75 sellers, and something like 275 bidders. Even if you figured an average of $5 a bag, that's $1,500 into the club treasury!
CAFE (Columbus) May 3.
GAAS (Akron) March 8.
GDAS (Detroit) ? spring
MCAS (Medina) sometime in March.
Michigan Cichlid - January
Motor City (Detroit) March 1
Stark County (Canton oh) ??
