A picture of my last current batch of babies and their size comparision to a toothbrush. Born on 6/9/2008. They are about 2 inches behind the toothbrush so they are a little bit bigger then they appear.

They are so pretty even at that size! My livebearers(FW) pretty much look like floating eyes still at that size.
I was at Kimber's place today picking up her dog, and as I was staring longingly at her marine tank I told her she needed to get some of these from you so I can enjoy them too. (I live marine vicariously through her tank, she collects neon tetras in my FW)

I think its awesome that you're raising these guys. I was reading a forum on mireefers.com and people were buying wild caught ones...they were saying they often starve because the wild caught ones are nowhere near as hardy as the captive bred and they're getting harder to find in the wild from overcollection:( . I know that many people on there were asking where they could get captive bred, so if you ever have trouble selling them post on there!

I may have to do that... I heard from an inside source that coming up in September or October that CITES is going to put to vote on banning the import and export of Bangaii Cardinals. So by the end of this year the only kind you'll be able to buy will be captive breed, and the supply is very limited, as is the wild supply.
If you know people that are looking for these fish on mireefers.com don't be shy to send them this way.

I have one Baingaii already and plan on upgrading my 55g to the 100g I have in my basement in the fall. I would definitely be interested in one of your little guys at that time if still breeding.

I'm sure I'll have some they seem to reproduce like clock work. I expect in about 5 days my male will have his mouth full of eggs again.
