Kimberly,  I did a little bit of research on the pumps you were talking about.  I only found the mag up to size 24.

Salty critter sells the same reeflo dart that I have on my tank.  Marine depot might carry more than what is in their paper catalog,  but I did not look them up

kimberly if your looking for a dart i've got a barely used (like less than a week) dart in the box for 150. half of what salty critter is selling it for. lemme know if it helps at all. i don't know what you plan on running for a return but i've got the dart overflow from glass-holes as well for half of what they are selling it for.

Dave:

Remember EVERYBODY LOVES VISA!!!  Once you remember that travel is a piece of cake.  You rarely take something that you can't replace (if you can't replace it, it should be left at home).  Everything else can be bought, including those things that you meant to bring, but didn't.  I've flown to N. Carolina for a meeting only to find that my luggage was in the Caribbean and could not be delivered to my hotel until the next day.   Sleep easy and take the Visa.  And, the camera for pix for the rest of us!  (Tell the missus there is a pizza for her too if she helps with the pix.)

thanks wendy,  I am such a worry wart about all that could go wrong in terms of missed flights and weather delays etc.

I know you are right and I should just relax.  I guess I will do that when my toes are in that sand

I'm always a wreck before a trip.  It lasts until I get on the road, then my spirits soar!

Yupp, I think the tank is still sitting in Canada as Dave is currently enjoying some time down in Abaco (with students in tow).

BuK,

I am interested in the dart 3600.  If that's what you've got... let's talk.  Leaving town for the weekend tomorrow, but we can communicate through PM if necessary.  Thanks!

I want to, yes. But it's ultimately going to depend on what day it ends up falling on. I have an event during nearly the whole second week/weekend of July. So I'm playing it by ear until Dave gets back and can set a date.

Glad to hear Spike is doing well. I was just thinking that I needed to ask you about him the other day!

Well, I am back from Abaco.  The weather was great for the first few dives but the winds of a big storm to out south started kicking up before I could make the dive I have been waiting two years for.

That reef at low tide is only feet from shore.   So the seas tempted and teased us with quick glimses of purple pocilipora, two growth forms of stags, giant yellow and green sea fans, and worst of all an elk horn five feet from low tide that was the size of my lazy boy recliner.  As the waves would draw back you could see these guys pop out of the surf for a moment or two.

Anyone who ever worries that they might have too much flow in their tank for sps have to see those five foot tall sledge hammers roaring over the corals.  The coral response was nothing more than full polyp extension and what I took as a smile on their micro faces

Some time next week I will try to get a seperate thread up with some pics if they turned out ok.   I ran out of battery before I could sit down and look through what I had taken.

The tank is supposed to be shipped today but I am not where I can check my e-mail to find out for sure.    Their is a family wedding that drug me out of our house by 9 this morning after getting home at 2:30 last night.  (goodness do I hate to fly) so I am dragging too much to even worry that I don't know what day my tank should be in Bellevue.  Sometime next week I will review my schedule and post a short list of build days and put it to popular vote.

Welcome back Dave. I look forward to seeing some of your trip photo's. The thought of the waves at low tide and the corals popping above the water would be a site in itself.

If it helps on the build, these are the Saturdays I'm off 7-3, 7-17 and 7-31. Not that I'd ask you to postpone anything for me but I'd love to be there when its done.

WELCOME HOME!!!  Will send you a very delayed PM.  Hope you were able to enjoy the family wedding.  Sounds like an awful lot on your plate just hours after returning home.  Can't wait to see pictures!  I've made some tank decisions on my end and am very excited to see your build (hopefully live) .  Until then... recoup as your build will require Briney Dave at full strength!  RJ... I really hope this falls on a day when both of use can go.  Can't imagine seeing this build without you... or me... for that matter.

Glad to hear your trip went well Dave! I look forward to the pics.

Let us know when you figure out more about the tank. I'd like to make it down on build day, but it will really depend on the date.

According to ABF trucking, my tank should be here tomorrow.  There is way too much pre work to be done yet to shoot for this Saturday:

I will have to run a couple other dates past the Mrs., but I was thinking a week from Saturday

pics of sump and stand later tonight if I can talk Debbie into helping me
