I could accept the package and distribute as needed. We could meet up at Trilby or Ocean Treasures (or any other local fish store). Today was my last real day of summer classes so I'm free until the 2nd week of August (vacation, woo-hoo!).

I still haven't got anything back from John but I sent that message late last night.

Here is my reply from John:

"Sorry it took so long for me to respond, we had a big shipment to take care of today. and I have been emailing the customer to tell them the package went out.

For this Friday we could only do the Frag packs, as we are moving that day, and just don't have the time to carefully bag the snails. (We have to bag the frags anyway, so we might as well send them out rather than transfer them) However, if you want to do the group buy for a delivery sometime later, like next week, we can do that, give you the free shipping and a discount to boot. Just let me know what you want to do. I won't be available for emails this weekend unfortunately, but will have all the time to help you with the group buy next week, after our move.

All the Best,
John Maloney"

Zoa you might just want to order your frag pack anyways. You get free shipping with it and I know he is running low on that particular pack.

Are we going to get a group order going in the next couple of weeks or maybe wait and do one right before the BBQ so we can distribute macros at the BBQ.

I'm interested in a few macro frags but mainly want some snails-- if they are moving I think I'd want to wait a couple of weeks so if they have die-off they don't shimp me some dying snails ;)

Also, I should probably trim my chaeto-- I have a 50ish gallon fuge now and while it is no where near being full of chaeto, I could probably stand to trim it down some--- if anyone needs some, let me know.

Good idea Spuds! Having it the weekend of the BBQ would make it easier on picking stuff up.

Just have a cooler with some ice to keep everything below the boiling point (August will probably be a scorcher, just my luck for vacation).

From what I read on the site, we will each put in our own order and they will be combined for shipping... although I don't think we got the proper instructions on how we should do this... we will each have to put a note in the order I imagine...  each ordered item will be bagged seperately so we will just have to distribut the bags.... lemme see if I can find where i read this on their site.

When are we going to do this and when will the group buy end?  They say someone needs to contact them and I know Burks has contacted them once.

What I will do is contact them and set it up so that the package will be delivered on Friday the 29th so everything can be handed out the next day. With it being express (I'm sure we'll hit the free Express Shipping amount), shouldn't be any problems holding it for a day still in the box but I will double check on that. Might even be able to get it on Saturday, we'll see.

I may or may not be able to receive it depending on how my classes play out. I'm still working on getting them all set up. So a backup person for shipping might be needed.

I would like to make it to the BBQ but I'd be a bit late because I have to work on that Sat.     So I could receive the order as a back-up choice, and bring it to the park with me.     It would be probably about 2:00 before I'd get there.
