It looks like we did have a glitch in the registration page that was caused by a recent software update. The glitch was preventing new users from registering on the website but has now been corrected. If you have any more problems please feel free to email me at chad@masm.org

There will be a seperate container for each item. However there are some things that you will see have multiple draws such as the Panorama modules or the thermometers. In those cases we will draw more than one number from the box.
We are doing things a little differently this year and hopefully it will be an improvement. First we are going to be using the Chinese style raffle tickets like the one below. It should will make it easier for everyone because you will have fewer numbers to keep track off. Basically it's a sheet of 25 tickets all with the same number on them so people don't have to spend time looking through strings of tickets. Secondly numbers will be drawn and displayed on a large screen on one side of the room. If your number comes up you can see it along with the prize you won and you can just take your ticket over to the raffle area and pickup your winnings. No more shouting out numbers and waiting for a person to find a matching ticket. If you have been to a MACNA in the last few years you've already seen this in action and know how much better it works.
All Should make the raffle go much more smoothly and quickly than int he past.

The plan is to sell in half sheet( 10 tickets ) for $10 and Full sheets ( 25 tickets ) for $25 which is pretty much the same pricing scheme as we have always done.

We have had a couple people asking for some less expensive booth options. So as a test we have opened up two half booth spaces for a reduced price. You can check out the hall and purchase booths at http://www.midwestmarineconf.org/Vendor.aspx
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Time for some conference updates!
We've added a few new vendors since my last update we are pleased to have Pazzaz, Wilco1rd, Reefer T's, And Midwest Saltwater to the list of vendors this year.
Reed Mariculture is the latest sponsor of the Conference. Reed is providing us with another round of goodie bags and will be bringing some raffle items as well. Thanks to Reed Mariculture for their continued support.
We have developed a smartphone web app that will hopefully make keeping track of what is going on and when a little easier. You can view the webapp by going to http://mmc.masm.org/mobile don't worry if you don't remember the address because we will have QRCodes at the event that will take you right to the site.
This year we are making some changes to the way we do our raffle that we hope will make it run more quickly and efficiently. For starters we are switching to a chinese style raffle ticket
These style tickets means there are a lot less numbers to keep track of as each sheet contains 25 tickets all with the same number. So instead of keeping track of 100 different numbers during the drawing you only have to watch out for 4.. Way easier!
Also rather than trying to shout out numbers to the crowd we will run a scrolling list of raffle items and the ticket numbers as they are drawn on the overhead scree in the exhibit hall. This same list can be viewed from the mobile site I mentioned above. When you see your number come up just take you ticket to the raffle area and pick up your prize.. This should make the raffle run much smoother as ticket numbers will be easier to locate and you don't have to worry about not hearing your number get called.
