sorry i'll have to pass on the cheato. not that it's not a good deal, but i don't think it'd like my pink tipped anemone i got the other day, apparently many corals don't like them

I am little confused as what you mean.   The Cheato is not a coral.   It is an algea that usually goes into a refugium.

But either way, That's okay.

those mushrooms are really cool looking.  I wish I had room but I have to save it for the swap meet on Sunday because I have no real idea how many zoanthids I will be able to pick up on the cheap

Enough that we can cover the intake of the overflowbox to protect it from getting gumed up.

I have about two square feet of egg crate with half inch squares.  Should I bring that as well?

To be honest, I do not remember the size of the opening.  six inches long enough?  and how tall

Maybe I will just go get some gutter guard anyway.  I think that will do a better job with the snails and other crawling guys

Sorry that it took so long to respond.

Those are my leather corals.  You can have one if you have the tank to support it.

Good flow, medium light

Hey thanks for the offer, but zeeman is already donating to me a green star polyp frag. It will be my first coral, and I don't want to jump the gun, but in the future, deffinatelly

Brandon, after your fragging demonstration I know what you are talking about with the suction cupped bins and cups to hold frags/cheato in

Now I'm interested in the cheato, what did you say its good for?

Using Cheato is a way to export excess nutrients.  Macroalgeas use up phosphates and nitrates as fertilizer.  My cheato grows very fast so about every two weeks I remove a handful and allow it to grow back.

Also the in tank refugium acts as a breeding ground for pods and other microorganisms.

Make sure you get a container with larger holes as you want a good flow through the container.

I have a ziplock bag of cheato that you can have.  I will not be at the meeting so we will have to meet.  My tank is at my office which is the First Apostolic Church at Sylvania Ave and holland Sylvania.
