I'd love to see a demo on fragging.
So would I. That would be very educational to us newbies.

Disappeared paly
I got a paly frag yesterday, glued it to a rock, it opened up, and everything was fine. Then I got up this morning and it was gone. Would it have gotten knocked off by the snails or pulled off? Any ideas would help. I have an emerald crab, blue le...

Powersweep
Is there an alternate way to keep these guys up on the glass instead of the suction cups which wear out very fast?

give it a good scrubbing - sometimes there is lichen growing on it - and rinse it really well.

Powersweep
Zoo med does sell the parts for the powersweeps, but you might be able to order them from a local store. Here's the zoo med link:

Immortal Jellyfish
I don't know if they'd make it into the hobby because they are so small - only 5mm. But even if they were, wouldn't they overpopulate a tank?

home in my jammies part II
Snow day for me as well. Owens was going to open at noon, then decided five pm would be better and I don't have class that late.

Powersweep
One of my powersweeps was not going back and forth and the other is moving slowly, so I thought that there was some algae in the one not moving, so I let it run in a bucket of freshwater all day, but no change. Me being impatient, decided to take it...

Remedy for too many snails...
Clown loaches, dojo (weather) loaches and dwarf puffers have all controlled snail populations in my tanks. The dwarf puffers do get aggressive though. With a 29 you could do 2-3 of the loaches.

Lighting
I was wondering if it would be a shock to my coral if I changed from a 20K bulb to a 14K bulb. They are all doing better changing from 65w pc's to 175w MH.
Thanks
