Hello. As for the rocks it has been holding steady. I bought an African Dwarf Frog at Walmart Friday. I bought him, because I had noticed that they got a shipment a week ago. There were two AFCs on the shelf still a week later and one was dead. I felt I shoul dbuy the one that was alive and maybe I could stop him from dying. He was lethargic from the beggining, I bought some freeze dried bloodworms also. Well he didn't eat all weekend and this afternoon stopped moving. He died and I am going to take him back on Tuesday. I think I might get a 5 gallon tank and start raising these if they get another shipment in. I have been talking about the Walmart out at Springmeadows. Two weeks ago they had dozens of dead fish in their sink and the water there was opaque. I talked to the manager and she said the filtration system had broken and they were trying to get people to fix it. They could have changed the water or something, but they didn't even give a crap if the fish died. After going there every other day I can see how they care about their up keep. The place is like a torture chamber for fish and I am certain they don't turn a profit with all the die off. I would like to save the creatures I can, but at the same time feel I am fueling their actions. Well I feel sorry about the Dwarf Frog, but I just might be able to save one eventually.

I don't buy fish at WalMart at all. I won't even buy supplies there. I stay away from their pet department. If no one bought anything, they wouldn't stock fish. People want to save money, but you aren't saving much if it dies. I only want to buy fish from people who take good care of them. If you live somewhere where there aren't any local fish stores or even any big box pet stores, then I know you haven't much choice.

I totally understand about not buying fish there. I don't know if this is logical, but I want to save any creatures I can from Deathmart's shelves. I bought 2 dwarf frogs, the other one died, as soon as they came in the store. They were still healthy and I saw some catfish in excellent shape there. They get in good stock, but their tanks are, so bad if they aren't rescued or bought within a few days they probably will get sick and die. The frogs are eating out of my hand now, so I am hoping they'll live awhile.
Here is a plant I picked up from Walmart.

It originally only had the small leaves on it, stacked one above the other, kind of like toadstools in Super Mario Bros. After I planted it in my tank the larger almost like a pine or palm tree like leaves started growing from the top of the stalk. They are bright green and spread along, under the top of the water from the central stalks. I've cut a couple of parts off it that had started to grow roots and planted them in the bottom substrate. They seem to be doing pretty well. It's a great plant and I would like to know more about it. I've done some searches, but haven't turned up anything. I figured one of the experts here would know it off hand. I guess the most distinguishable part is that it had two seperately unique leaves. Really wondering about this.

Turkeyrole, your plant is water wisteria. It is a very nice plant. The leaf formation may vary depending on the light and how close to the surface it is. You already know how to propagate it.

Yes, once you get the ich cleared up the fish is usually fine. If the ich was severe, the fish may get a secondary infection (fungus) but that would show up within a few days.

Cool thank you. I made another pruning/planting today. The plant grows well and looks great. I don't have any sort of CO2 setup. Just the regular ten gallon tank, filter and also an air pump. I heard that air pumps disturb the surface and cut down on the CO2, but my aquarium seems to have achieved a really good equilibrium right now, so I don't want to change anything. The dwarf frogs I have eat copious amounts of food from my fingers. I got them Friday and all they did was hide in the rocks for 5 days, but now they are walking around a bit and perking up if they think some foods coming. I have 8 fish in the 10 gallon tank, along with the 2 frogs, so I know I won't be adding anymore creatures to the tank, having completely filled it. I will keep growing the plants and maybe add some java moss, but nothing else. Thank you for your opinions and answers here and I'll keep posting pictures of how the tank progresses in a new thread.
Thanks again,

Sounds great!
All my tanks have a sponge filter or an air stone. Otherwise I find the fish hanging around the surface. If you want more plant growth without adding CO2, there is a product called Excel by Flourish that works well. I'm not currently using CO2 or Excel.
