On the name tags- I know they have plastic sleeves with a pin in them that you can slip a piece of paper into. We could use something like that, and either write our info up or make one at home with a photo of your favorite Bolivian ram on it. Keeping them at the center might be a good idea- some of us can barely remember to come to the meetings, and bringing along your nametag is just way too much to ask of us!

Love it!

i like the ways the meetings are set up. they help a lot by being able to get into groups with other people who know what your talking about because they've had the experience with it and share they're input on how to fix a problem and your not trying to fight over a whole bunch of people to hear someone across the room it's more personal and people friendly so to speak.

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

Name tags would work well. I try to get around to most new members to introduce myself but sometimes that doesn't work. Even doing the introduction would work well. Just have everyone introduce themselves while we're at it.

Is there an area that we can see other members info? I know we fill out the info when we sign up, but never found where to look at it.  If something could be added extra so we can see everyones interests, pix and all that stuff it may also be easier to put names and faces together.

If you look at a forum post, the little magnifying glass will show you all the posts by that person.

I think if there's a little rolodex card next to the magnifying glass, that's supposed to bring up the "about me" information. But it comes up blank, so maybe something is broken, or it's using a white-colored font.

Ha! I just tried highlighting the empty text area in that little pop-up box, and the "about me" information shows up! Just treat it like you want to do a select and copy of what's in the box and the text will appear.

Thanks paul I just noticed that myself I'll have to look into fixing that!

Anyone is welcomed to attend, whether they are brand new to the hobby or a seasoned hobbyist.
