Corals of Australia and the Indopacific by Veron. More of a referance then a read. I also like is the Modern Coral Reef Aquarium by Fossa. There are like six volumes to the Fossa book the first one being the best because it preaches on how to take things slow. I like them a little better than the three Sprung Delbeek volumes.

Coral is good and I like to read it since I got it as a christmas present, but many of the articles are just a shortened version of what can be found on RC. That is the top dog of all info and plus you do not have to pay. But a book that is beyond great is Reef invertebrates:an essential guide to selection, care, and combatibility, also aquarium corals: selection, husbandry. and natural history is a good read and reference.

zoa, I like Calfo's book too. I have not dug it out of the class collection in a while. Usually one of my students has it out doing research work

Salt books that did not make the newsletter list but are good reads for the right person
"the simple guide to Mini reef aquariums" by our pal and fellow Toledoean Jeff Kurtz
Also "the consientious Marine Aquarist" by Bob Fenner and a small book that does a nice job for beginners who are interested in a European approach is "The successful Aquarium" by Daniel Knop
Knop has a really good book for nano and pico tanks but there is no English translation yet that I am aware of.

Awesome book. Jeff takes complicated ideas and breaks them down so a new person to the hobby can understand it. He doesn't use a bunch of big words and stuff to "sound good", just tells it how it is. One of the first books I've read and I've recommended it to many people.
Only other book I've actually read is both of Calfo's coral propagation books. I don't read very much. Books at least........Reefcentral on the other hand.....
