there are many species of both. Not all species look the same, not all species are eaten by the same predators. I had hydroids and got a copperband which ate my hydroids (purely luck that he had a taste for them).

hey jen i forgot you said you had t5s in your tank. the acropora and birdsnest frags will do best near the top of your tank. The t5s dont have the same light penetration as metal halides. Hope you enjoy!

a lot of times the bottom panel is tempered. also do not drill within 1 in of the edge of a panel.

do it yourself its ez. just go slow. watch some instructional videos on youtube. you can get a good deal on bulkreefsupply.com got mine there and ive drilled 7 holes in 3 different tanks no problem.
