i think all mine are females but i was wandering if anyone can sex them well and can give me a crash course?

They know!
Male has a more pointed dorsal fin. Females should be slightly larger and have a more rounded body. I've also heard that if you shine a flashlight at them, the females will have green eyes and the males blue.

Usually the male has longer extended rays in the middle of the tail too.

Once I figure out what is going on with my tank and make sure it is safe, I'd be happy to trade some male/females with you(provided I have more than two males, not sure). Mine are black emperors though. They have blue eyes. Brilliant, electric blue eyes. Not sure if any are more green, will have to look.

awesome thatd be great i got 7 blacks and 4 blue emperors and none of them have that little point sticking out in the caudel fin i have had emperors before and they had that point so thats what makes me thinbk these are females and they are very round bodied and i havent really seen any of these displaying and the last time thats all they did! lol

Thank goodness... LOL it is hard to find people who can laugh at the same things I laugh at. My poor husband. If he falls down I will just about pee my pants from laughing so hard. Hey I grew up with the 3 stooges what can I say... LOL

nice! that poor man you laught at him. funny story one dya i heard a crash downstairs in the living room so i go running like a bolt of lightning to find my grandpa laying on the ground laughing the table almost busted lamp on the floor next to him everyhting all over and my grandama laughing too aparently he walked by and she pinched his butt and he lost balance and wiped out the table on the way down! lol
