Sorry about the quality, it's an old Sony 5.1, and I'm not very good with it!

Thanks Dave... if I could just get the aiptaia under control I'd almost be happy! Haven't seen any of my $120 worth of berghias in months... added half a dozen peppermint shrimp probably a month ago, and never see them either... I did go snooping the other night and found one of the peppermints hanging out in the space under my rockwork. I keep trying to convince myself I'm seeing fewer aips but I dunno...

If you notice in the first pic directly over the AP in the date (APR) there appears to be a little round brownish coral on the top left side of the frag rock with the tri-color acro aiming up and to the left. I've recently found several of them in the general area, I can pick out one more of them in the pics I posted. I think they are pocillopora babys from the big one on the left. I assume it must have spawned since as far as I know, fragging and sexual reproduction are the only two ways I know SPS reproduce... The one I'm describing is visible in several of these pics. We'll see as it grows.

have you tried aiptasia x the stuff really works i had 2 aips in my 29 gallon when i transferred to my current 75 gallon and added a new light with the moonlight leds ( i think the shimmering cause them to mate like crazy) they got bannanas at least 50 of them started aip -x and I am going on 2 weeks without a single aip with no ill effects on livestock and corals includes frogspawn lobo elegance toadstool and devils hand and long tent anem
i also brought peppermint previous to buying the aip -x and they did nothing but hang out near my long tentacle anem prolly due to the spotted hawk having a taste for small shrimp lol

I've used kalk paste in the paste with some success, but over the past 3 years as this thing has grown up much of the tank is inaccessible to my hands. I don't think chemical means are my answer. I am going to start breaking some of the more common denser (is that a word) corals apart where there are a bunch of them.

I've posted some of these before I think... but here is the progression!

The dates tell the story...
