I'm getting the super reef octopus XP5000EXT. If you want look in to it. Its rated up to 500g. Chech out wwwreefspecialty.com They re great to work with.

Well I came around full circle I'm back at the xp5000ext it's made by coralvue and it run on 88 watts. Thats with two pumps! So thanks for all the help and I'll let you guys know how this thing works!

Thanks guys, The skimmer that I'm looking at is suppose to pull in a 1/1 air to water . But its a little more then I want to spend. I guess go big or go home right? Oh I plan on stuffing this tank full of sps and lps and maybe a fish or three. Well ...

What skimmer???
Ok now I've been looking for a skimmer for my 260g build. I really like the reef octopus its a sro xp 5000 ext. If anyone would like to chime in and give any advice on this one or any other skimmers I should look in to please let me know.

Taking a poll... what is the most common size tank?
Ok I have a 125g reef oh and it has an awesome stand and canopy lol. Also working on a 260g build, but I need to get working on a stand and canopy.

Octopus proteen skimmer
Has anyone used the octopus proteen skimmer with the bubble king pump on it? I've been looking in to them so I thought I'd ask. I'm looking at SRO-XPINT its a con type but I'm on the fence about it. If anyone knows of a better skimmer for the money ...
