reef octopus or swc skimmer people
I have two Coralvue Reef Octopus BH800s skimmers,
Just got a replacement impeller for one. (comes with magnet)
They are great skimmers! They work hard and make lots of skimmate.
I run them fairly wet.

Freshwater fish to saltwatter
I switched several scats over to full marine.
Did nothing special just a normal acclimation over several minutes.
$10 for a FW scat $30 for SW easy choice. :)

Stingray Keepers?
Retics are actually not the easiest to keep, mainly due to the fact they are often picky eaters when young. Often live blackworms are needed for the first several months.
If you really want motoros, get them. They are much easier to feed. though ...

Your parameters seem pretty good.
What is your magnesium supplement? I have the best luck with Kent Tech M.
Could you be running old bulbs? Maybe getting light from outside?

Also what fish have you tried before that didn't work out?
The theory of contaminated LR is possible, but I would think that crabs would not survive either.

any salties remember these or their name?
Those tip are pretty bright.
It seems like most palys that looked similar in more than a couple aspects were lumped together.
I have some solid green ones and some yellow green ones. I haven't looked at them closely in along while.
