I would leave it, just stir the gravel around a bit and remove as much of the BBA as is easy to get to.

Arrrrggghhhh! I can't come to this one either. I'm going out of town that weekend for a mental health break. I'm going to Ashley, Ohio for an Ohio DNR program and then on to Kentucky to visit family.

Yeah, I was appalled to see boxes of fish sitting there while they set up and filled the aquariums. I wonder how they get away with it. Maybe they pre-cycle the filters?
I hated the phone booth tank, too. And the clients.

River Monsters show
I've watched most of them, and I love it! It's annoying how they have to sensationalize how dangerous the fish are, but other than that it's great.
I especially enjoyed the piranha show in the first season. Apparently they only rarely bother living ...

Very professional looking mod! Much nicer than mine. I use a fishing bobber and line, and put a weight on the clip to hold it down. I usually hang the bobber over the side of the tank and close the lid on the fishing line so it doesn't float somewher...

If you can get a cooler long enough and put an air stone in it, that would be ideal. The fish could stay in there for the hours it will take to move your tank. If you can't get a cooler big enough, then the tote with a lid would be my second choice, ...
